Georgia State University graduated more than 5,700 students receiving bachelor's, master's and specialist's degrees at the university's spring and summer commencement on Saturday, May 9 in the Georgia Dome.

The Student Government Association (SGA) is the official voice for the student population at Georgia State University. These students have been elected by their peers and strive to maintain and improve the student experience through policy.

To be eligible for the Dean's List, students must earn a 3.50 GPA for the semester and complete at least nine semester hours of academic credit with no incompletes.

To be eligible for the President's List, students must earn a 4.0 GPA for the semester and complete at least nine semester hours of academic credit with no incompletes.

To qualify for the Dean's List, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better and must have completed successfully all courses for which they were registered.

Miami University students who ranked in the top 20 percent of undergraduate students within each division for second semester 2014-2015 have been named to the dean's list recognizing academic performance.

The following students have earned the distinction of Dean's List at the Georgia Institute of Technology for Spring 2015.

Samford University releases dean's lists after the close of the fall and spring semesters each academic year. To qualify for the dean's list, a student must have earned a minimum 3.5 grade point average out of a possible 4.0 while attempting at least 12 credit hours of coursework. Dean's List is the highest academic recognition given by the school at the end of each semester.

The Georgia Institute of Technology presented degrees to approximately 2,700 undergraduate and graduate students during the Institute's 249th commencement exercises.

GSU Marketing RoundTable Outstanding Minority Student Scholarship is sponsored by the GSU Marketing RoundTable and is awarded annually to students of African American, Hispanic American, or Native American ethnicity and currently enrolled in a Marketing course. Qualified students will have a minimum grade point average of 3.0.

During UC's annual commencement ceremony on May 9, 2015, the University conferred 815 degrees; 230 students received undergraduate degrees and 585 students earned graduate degrees.
