Kennesaw State University congratulates the more than 5,600 students named to the Spring 2018 Dean's List. Students enrolled at least 9 credit hours and with a grade point average of at least 3.5 were named to the list.

The Georgia Institute of Technology presented degrees to approximately 3,700 undergraduate and graduate students during the Institute's 255th Commencement exercises on May 4 -5 2018, at the McCamish Pavilion.

More than 2,000 students earned bachelor's degrees from Georgia State University during the spring 2018 semester.

A record 1,240 degrees were awarded. That tops the 2017 record of 1,165. An estimated 250 students graduated with honors. In the seven commencement ceremonies, 33 different degree programs were recognized, including the first graduates in the Doctor of Physical Therapy, Master of Athletic Training, Master of Science in Respiratory Care, Master of Science in Health Informatics and Bachelor of Science in healthcare administration programs in the College of Health Sciences. Graduating students represented 28 states and seven other countries: United Kingdom, Malaysia, China, France, South Korea, Canada and Germany.

To be eligible for the Dean's List, degree-seeking students must have earned a GPA of at least 3.5 for a minimum of nine semester hours of academic credit taken at Georgia State during the fall or spring term with no incompletes for the semester. Eligible students must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 for all classes taken at Georgia State.

To be eligible for the President's List, degree-seeking students must have earned a GPA of at least 4.0 for a minimum of nine semester hours of academic credit taken at Georgia State during the fall or spring term with no incompletes for the semester. Oglethorpe University congratulates the 356 students named to the Spring 2018 Dean's List honoring those who achieved at least a 3.50 term grade-point average while earning 12 or more semester hours.

More than 2,000 Coastal Carolina University students were named to the Dean's List for the Spring 2018 semester. Students who make the Dean's List have achieved a 3.5 GPA or higher during the semester. CCU has a student population of 10,600.

University of North Georgia (UNG) President Bonita C. Jacobs recognized more than 1,300 students who achieved a 4.0 GPA during the spring 2018 semester. Students enrolled in 12 or more credit hours in bachelor's degree programs who achieved a 4.0 grade point average were named to the President's Honor Roll. Students enrolled in associate degree programs who met the same level of achievement were named to the President's List.

The deans of each of UNG's five colleges - the College of Arts & Letters, the College of Education, the College of Health Sciences & Professions, the Mike Cottrell College of Business, and the College of Science & Mathematics - announced the names of those students who made their respective lists for spring 2018. Dean's List recognition is achieved by having at least a 3.5 grade point average, carrying 12 or more credit hours in one semester and having no grade lower than B.

The University of North Georgia announces degrees and certificates awarded for the spring 2018 semester, including hundreds awarded in commencement exercises held May 4 and 5 at the university.

Membership in Sigma Theta Tau is an honor conferred on students in the baccalaureate and graduate programs who have demonstrated excellence in their nursing program. Georgia State University is home to the Epsilon Alpha Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society in Nursing.

Dean's List Spring 2018

Berry College recently welcomed its newest class of graduates.

The following students achieved the Dean's List at Belmont University for the Spring 2018 semester. Eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C.

More than 150 students of the Georgia State University College of Law were recognized for their achievements during the college's Honors Day celebrations this spring.

Approximately 1,183 students were eligible to walk in Coastal Carolina University's graduation exercises, held on campus at the HTC Student Recreation Center and Convocation Center in three separate ceremonies May 4-5.

Georgia State School of Public Health Ph.D. student, Lia Scott, was awarded a federal grant from the National Institutes of Health.

Kennesaw State University recently welcomed its newest class of graduates. Nearly 2,300 students earned bachelor's, master's or doctoral degrees during Fall 2017 commencement ceremonies in December.

A total of 12,594 students enrolled during the 2017 fall semester at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

One-hundred and fifty one Georgia State College of Law students received scholarships for the 2017-18 academic year.
